Toqo is a personal mineral and gemstone collection manager focused on speed, clarity, and practical cataloging. The app lets you document specimens with photos, physical properties, locality notes, storage details, display status, and personal observations in one place.
By using Toqo, you agree to use the app in a normal collector workflow: recording your own collection data, exploring mineral references, and organizing your records for personal use.
2. Access Without Account
Because Toqo is built as an account-free experience, your app access depends on your device and installed app state. If you uninstall the app, reset app data, or switch devices without transferring data, your records may not carry over automatically.
- No username or password is required to use the core product.
- No profile creation is needed for specimen management, piles, wiki browsing, and statistics viewing.
- You remain responsible for your own device security, backups, and app maintenance.
3. Collection Features
Toqo supports full specimen records including name, aliases, image set and cover photo, hardness, luster, transparency, crystal system, fluorescence, color, locality, purchase details, storage location, display status, and notes.
You can add photos from your camera or photo library, edit specimen details at any time, remove records, and view your collection in multiple list styles for fast reviewing.
- Keyword and filtered search help you locate specific specimens quickly.
- Statistics visualize trends, distributions, and overview counts from your recorded data.
- Your entries should be accurate and respectful of real-world mineral information standards.
4. Wiki and Reference Content
Toqo includes a built-in mineral reference area with taxonomy browsing, mineral detail pages, and searchable entries. This section is designed to support identification and learning while you catalog your own pieces.
Reference content is provided as educational support and practical context for collectors. You should still rely on your own judgment for high-stakes identification decisions or valuation decisions.
5. Piles and Organization
Piles are custom grouping spaces for your specimens. You can create, rename, edit, and delete piles, and move specimens into or out of these groups without deleting the underlying specimen records.
- Pile membership helps you organize by display themes, projects, regions, or any system you prefer.
- Deleting a pile removes the group structure but keeps your specimen records intact.
- You can re-organize freely at any time to match how your collection evolves.
6. Fair Use and Respectful Behavior
Please use Toqo for genuine cataloging and reference activities. Do not attempt to disrupt app behavior, manipulate app internals, or create misuse scenarios that degrade normal operation.
Keep your content clean and practical. Avoid storing harmful, misleading, or abusive material in notes or specimen naming. Toqo is meant to be a focused collecting tool.
7. App Updates and Feature Changes
Toqo may receive updates that improve design, performance, stability, and data workflows. Interface details, visuals, and specific interactions may evolve over time while keeping the product purpose consistent.
